About Julia Hessling
I am a first-year student at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University-Bloomington. I am currently studying Accounting, and am determined to become a Certified Public Accountant. I am an active member of my social sorority Sigma Delta Tau, where we pride ourselves in fostering genuine relationships, supporting our philanthropy, and building leadership and trust. I am also an Associate of Social and Wellness for The Women\'s Network at Indiana University, an organization committed to supporting women\'s professional and social development. In this role, I practice communication and empathy to create a welcoming environment, while focusing on wellness and mental health during club meetings. Previously, I have worked locally at a Dry Cleaners in my hometown. This position has taught me customer service and organizational skills while continuing to develop my communication and adaptability. Furthermore, I was a varsity cheerleading captain at my high school and also volunteered as a youth cheerleading coach. These positions allowed me to combine my love for being active and cheering while also being a determined leader, and taught me time management, dedication, and team building. I look forward to what the Kelley School of Business has to offer and the skills I will continue to develop. I am an adaptable and empathetic student, and am excited to see what the future holds.
