About Julia Danson
I’m a JD candidate at Harvard Law School with a background in education, public policy, and government service. Before law school, I taught second grade in Chicago through Teach For America and earned a Master\'s in Teaching; this experience deepened my commitment to equity and showed me how systemic barriers shape student outcomes. I later worked at the NY Attorney General’s Office of Special Investigation, supporting high-profile investigations into law enforcement-related civilian deaths. I collaborated with attorneys and public stakeholders to advance transparency and accountability. I’m interested in using legal tools to solve complex, people-centered challenges—especially at the intersection of law, policy, and education. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from USC with a B.S. in Public Policy and Law and a minor in Spanish.
