I spent 20 years as a journalist working across the media landscape, from Entertainment Weekly to Marie Claire, Salon, the New York Post, and CBS News. Now I teach and advise journalism students at NYU, write novels, and offer private editorial services including developmental edits, classes, and coaching on writing and publishing. I am passionate about the future of journalism and dedicated to helping would-be reporters build the skills and network they need to make a living telling true stories.My five novels - INVISIBLE CITY, RUN YOU DOWN, CONVICTION, THE MISSING HOURS, and I DREAMED OF FALLING - have been translated into nine languages.I was born and raised in Fresno, California, and now live in New York\'s Hudson Valley.More here:
