As an experienced estate planning attorney, I guide clients through the estate, tax and charitable planning process. I work with clients, along with their financial and tax advisors, to develop and implement comprehensive and personal estate plans while minimizing the potential for taxes and litigation. I also assist clients in navigating complicated family dynamics and minimizing their potential for taxes and litigation.As part of our estate planning package, we draft numerous documents including, as applicable, Revocable Living Trusts, IRA Trusts, Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts, Advance Directives, Powers of Attorney, Dispositions of Remains, Certifications of Trust, Bills of Sale, Deeds, and Pour-Over Wills. Further, given my extensive tax experience, I also complete estate tax returns and handle taxable trust administrations and probates.Additionally, I bring a unique skill set to my estate planning practice. Prior to becoming a lawyer, I worked as a family therapist. This background helps me better listen to clients to understand their goals and legal needs and develop long-term solutions.
