Rain Gardens are one of the best free ecosystem services that we can institute to manage the water which comes off our roofs, patios and pathways. It is a free irrigation system and can create little habitat areas with native plants and/or can look tamed and still do the work! I help clients envision how they can begin to invite the natural world into the space around their homes. I can also can recommend raised beds to grow food as well as recommend hardscaping, pergolas and patios to create \"good bones\" for the garden. Skills offered are: AutoCAD drawings (which I can utilize to project manage for my clients in making bids), consultations on existing gardens for renovations and design for that lawn you would like to encourage in to a bio-diverse little corner of the world. Photo based mock-ups are also available to give an idea of what the new plantings could look like.
