ABOUT JULES GARCIA
Social worker seeking roles that blend macro-level systems change with meaningful direct service opportunities. Fresh off completing my MSW in Organizational Leadership with a Trauma Treatment Certificate, I\'m passionate about building trauma-informed workplaces, implementing policy change, and advocating for marginalized communities across the South. My 8+ years of experience span systems (behavioral health, public health, housing), sectors (public and private), and populations (youth and young adults, in-patient psychiatric patients, emergency shelter guests, individuals in crisis). I\'ve led programs from ideation to launch, discovered and solved a $250k mistake, jumped into action when I saw a need even without being asked, designed original trainings when existing solutions fell short, and became a Canva wizard somewhere along the way. My specialized offering is \"How to Use Pronouns and Become a Better Ally,\" a training that explores gender pronouns and identity through the lens of an ally who has made mistakes, grown, and discovered my own queer non-binary identity along the way. I\'m also available to create customized trainings and workshops for engaging with and supporting vulnerable populations like Y/YA and the LGBTQ+ community—just reach out! I\'m drawn to roles combining strategic thinking with hands-on impact. My lived experience is my greatest asset, and I lead with authenticity, transparency, and creativity. Ready to contribute to organizations committed to meaningful change—let\'s connect if you\'re working to make systems better for both the people they serve and the staff who keep them running.
