ABOUT JULES BILLAUD

During the first part of my gap year, I am completing an internship in the Private Equity sector in Luxembourg. As a sell-side analyst, one of my responsibilities is to source and sell PE products by presenting investment proposals to existing clients for recycling opportunities or prospective clients. This experience has allowed me to develop my skills in diversifying portfolios across private underlying assets in terms of strategies, geography, and sectors. In addition, I participate actively in the weekly meetings of the investment committee, contributing to the selection of companies and funds. I am not hesitant to ask questions or take part in these meetings, particularly in an environment of high interest rates and a significant decline in M&A deals.My experience in Private Equity has improved my attention to the details, my financial analysis and ability to work under pressure, making me well-suited to adapt quickly to a highly competitive environment.Something I want to emphasise is my international experience, which has been shaped by my exchange year at a fully international school in Rome and my current exchange from Luxembourg to San Francisco for the upcoming year.
