ABOUT JULENE MOHR ROBINSON

In September 2022, after 30 years of experience as a teacher and leader in elementary, middle school, high school, and post-secondary education settings, Julene became an independent franchise co-owner with Filta Environmental Kitchen Solutions™. Julene and her team proudly serve West Central Florida including communities across Hillsborough (east of I-75) and Polk Counties. In July 2023, Julene and her franchise, JxR Enterprises, Inc, was recognized with the Hot Start Award for exception growth in less than one year of operation. In February 2025, JxR was recognized with the New Summit Award for the greatest percent of revenue growth in its tier.Since 1996, the Filta Group has provided unparalleled service around the world to restaurants and other commercial food establishments. In an age of climate change, staffing shortages, and other economic stresses, Filta’s services are being recognized at the forefront by the food and hospitality industry. Operating in more than 20 countries and over 45 states plus Canada and Mexico, Filta’s FiltaFry service is the world leader in providing mobile filtration of oil for commercial kitchens. Filta’s FiltaClean service provide FOH and BOH deep cleaning to commercial kitchen clients including restaurants, hospitals, colleges, stadiums, resorts, and hotel/catering facilities.Prior to Filta, Julene was the Executive Director of IDEA Public Schools in Tampa Bay. In this role, Julene was responsible for the successful launch of IDEA’s first four schools on two campuses in Florida. Previously, Julene served as the Vice Provost of Programs and Academic Affairs for Ultimate Medical Academy (UMA), a non-profit nationally accredited institution based in Tampa, growing post-secondary online degree and career pathing opportunities for adult learners. Before UMA, Julene was the Regional Executive Director with the Bureau of School Improvement at the Florida Department of Education supporting differentiated accountability efforts for persistently low performing public schools in 18 school districts.Julene was also the School Founder of KIPP Houston High School, KIPP’s first high school; a Founding Mathematics Teacher at KIPP Academy Houston, KIPP’s first middle school; and a Special Education Teacher with the Teach For America corps in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas. Based upon her time as principal, the school Julene founded in Texas earned the state’s highest rating and was ranked 16th on U.S. News & World Report’s “America’s Best High Schools” and 86th on Newsweek’s “Top Public High Schools in America” lists.
