Ruby is currently an audit senior manager in KPMG US’s Richmond office. She has more than 10 years of experience providing financial statement audits and audits of internal control for both public and privately owned companies in various industries in accordance with PCAOB and U.S. GAAP.With professional knowledge, great adaptability, highly proficient English skills as a non-native speaker, Ruby was elected in KPMG US’s international rotation program in 2016 from KPMG Taiwan and transferred to the KPMG Richmond office. Ruby has provided professional audit services to several large groups in accordance with PCAOB requirements, U.S. GAAP in her career with KPMG. She is currently a lead engagement audit manager for a Fortune 500 company. Her audit experience ranges from SEC filings, carve-out financial statements, and SPAC audits to the successful coordination of group audits. Ruby has extensive experience in the consumer product, technology and manufacturing sectors. Ruby has experience in complex accounting areas, including business combinations, fair value measurement, going concern evaluation, and revenue recognition. She has a thorough understanding of SEC rules as well as US GAAP. She holds CPA licenses in Taiwan and in U.S.n addition to her professional contributions, Ruby is an active leader in KPMG’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives and Community Impact program. She also serves as a national facilitator and is a Board Member for Backpacks of Love, a nonprofit organization supporting Central Virginia communities.
