Leading backend initiatives within Walmart’s Enterprise Catalog platform, with ownership of multiple high-impact projects. • Responsible for the design and delivery of the Defect Platform, an enterprise system used to detect and process defects in seller-submitted catalog content at scale.• Owned end-to-end engineering, including system design and API architecture, and introduced new processing flows through backward-compatible enhancements to existing core services. • Built event-driven integrations using Kafka, publishing defect events for downstream Data Science model analysis and consuming model outputs to update catalog source services with strong reliability and data consistency guarantees.• In parallel, led the Catalog Source Archival initiative, a data-purge pipeline for retired catalog sources. • Designed solutions to ensure idempotency and data integrity across multiple dependent services.• Implemented workflows to consolidate affected entity IDs and create reliable backups, and developed purge APIs and audit mechanisms to safely remove data while maintaining full traceability and compliance.
