My debut novel BEASTS OF A LITTLE LAND was a finalist for the 2022 Dayton Literary Peace Prize. Published in 13 countries, it is being developed into a TV series for which I am also serving as executive producer. My second novel MEMENTO VITAE is forthcoming from Ecco/HarperCollins in Fall Winter 2024.As an author and environmental advocate, I\'ve given lectures at Seoul National University, Yonsei University, Arizona State University, Seoul International Book Fair, the University of Saõ Paulo (forthcoming), La Sierra University, and many others. I am donating a portion of the worldwide proceeds of BEASTS OF A LITTLE LAND to the Phoenix Fund, a Siberian tiger and Amur leopard conservation nonprofit based in Vladivostok, Russia. I also serve as a goodwill ambassador for the Korean Leopard Conservation Fund.
