ABOUT JUEJUN XUE
Embarking on a new journey of enabling the Next-Generation Display Technology with the most exciting materials breakthrough & best entrepreneurial minds from VC, academia and industry! As Materials Scientist turned VC investor, I focus on climate-centric and science-driven solutions in the built environment. I am deeply intrigued by applications of ClimateTech (renewables, grid-scale energy storage, CCUS), IndustrialTech (IoT, robotics and automation) and DeepTech (advanced materials, AR/VR/XR, AI and future of mobility) in the built world that contribute to net-zero & 1.5°C target. Cambridge ChemEng Graduate and PhD Researcher in Materials Science specialised in hybrid perovskite optoelectronics with interests in solar-to-hydrogen conversion, fuel cell/solid-state battery materials and carbon removal technologies across academia and industry. In my spare time, I am a tech enthusiast and keen coder who uses machine learning in healthcare sector to explore applicable crossovers of the two areas (e.g. NLP in clinical psychology).Cambridge International Scholar (PhD), EPSRC NanoFutures Scholar (PhD), Jardine Foundation Cambridge Scholar (MEng & BA), British Zeolite Association Research Scholar (BA) and Dulwich College Great China Scholar (A-levels).
