Directly responsible for the hospital\'s Construction Safety Program; including contractor training, policy review, construction audits & chairing the Construction Safety Program Subcommittee. Reviewing and approving HASP\'s, ICRA\'s and ILSM\'s. Responsible for Managing and Oversight of the Hazardous Waste Program that includes: 17 Very Small Quantity Generators, two Small Quantity Generators and one Large Quantity Generator. Overseeing hazardous waste contract operations at multiple sites. Create and provide hazardous waste training programs for internal staff. Responsible for minimizing hazardous waste generated by the Medical Center. Provide and maintain hazardous waste profiles. Responsible for the submittal of the Compliance Program, “Tier 2” Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act for 12 reporting sites. An active member of the Infection Prevention Advocate Program. Work collaboratively with Clinicians, Facilities Management, Facilities Planning & Development, Infection Prevention, Regulatory, Risk Management, local Fire Marshals and Fire Departments, and our Insurance Carriers to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
