About Judy Curry

I am an innovative and experienced transformation strategists and financial expert who has not only provided leadership to organizations but also contributed to changing paradigms by which they operate. I believe the only thing constant in life is change. My journey is about making the change before its’ too late. Often, change initiatives have been faced with the question: “Do you want it fast or right”. After all, transformations are about changing the tires while the car is running. I am the Terminator of the word “or” as the future will need the change to be fast and right. Both of which are critical to lead a company into profitability, growth, and sustainability.My early career included working as a former auditor and licensed CPA for a Big Four firm (KPMG), which provided me with broad exposure in SEC-registered companies across several industries. From there, I progressed through corporate finance functions, and eventually as the Controller and Chief Accounting Officer at Tupperware Brands (NYSE: TUP). I also served as Managing Director and CFO for the company’s foreign sub in Switzerland. In this role, responsible for the cost accounting & oversight of 15 plants operations, with P&L responsibility representing the total CGS of the company.At Tyco (NYSE:TYC),I led the Controllership and Tax functions through Tyco’s most important challenges and opportunities, often in complicated and highly visible regulatory, investor environments, two significant spin-offs and the eventual merger with Johnson Controls (NYSE:JCI) in 2016. Most recently, I was VP of Global Tax Reporting and Compliance at CBRE (NYSE:CBRE), where I led the enterprise-wide transformation of the Global Tax function and processes. Such transformation was necessary to enable the company’s strategy of growth within and outside the US, adding value while controlling costs particularly in the non-US jurisdictions; enhancing stakeholder confidence and quality of reporting. I had an integral role in various mergers and acquisitions, participated in due diligence and integration, and organized and implemented restructuring efforts, resulting in significant cost savings, and streamlined reporting. I also drove diversity initiatives and championed an open and transparent culture.These experiences have well-positioned me as a qualified audit committee financial expert. I leverage a powerful financial and business acumen that includes a rapid ability to build consensus across the organization, serve as a catalyst for change, as well as encourage open dialogue.
