ABOUT JUDITH LAMEYER

I am a passionate actuary who is particularly interested in leadership of virtual and international teams as well as project lead roles. Further, I am experienced in agile methods and qualified as a Product Owner (SCRUM). In my current role, I manage an interdisciplinary team making IFRS17 possible. Previously, I managed projects with a strategic focus within the Finance department in ERGO Group AG a thus, directly report to our Group CFO.Before, I used to work as a non-life actuary in Reserving P&C International in Ergo Group AG where we steer Ergo entities financial results‘ (IFRS4, SII). I was highly involved in an IFRS17 related project, in particular I was developing concepts for the implementation of relevant steps to calculate IFRS17 (and SII) compliant reserves and managing the implementation and business testing as well as supporting the roll out and communication to the international entities. In 2019, I have established an Actuarial Shared Service Center located in Eastern Europe that I was managing for more than a year.Within the IFRS17 project, I gained further experience in leadership and project work by being deputy subproject lead.Before, I started my career as a Financial Advisory Consultant in Actuarial & Insurance Services at Deloitte in Cologne in 2017 after finishing my studies in Mathematics (B.Sc.) and Business Administration (B.Sc.).In 2017, I also started to become an Actuary (DAV). I will become a certified actuary in 2020. Previously, I got interesting insights in global leadership and work experience during a six-months internship in Risk Consulting at PwC in Frankfurt a.M. in 2016, working for the EMEA lead. I am fluent in written and spoken English.
