I help landowners, farmers, and developers turn land into something productive, resilient, and financially sustainable, all without compromising the ecology that makes it valuable in the first place.I’m the founder of Regenerative Ag Design, a land design and consulting practice based in central Ohio. My work combines certified permaculture design, landscape planning, and hands-on farming experience with business strategy and financial modeling. Every project includes a path to financial viability alongside the ecological design. Because I know a beautiful plan that doesn’t pencil out isn’t a plan.Every engagement follows the Ground Truth Design Process, a six-phase framework I developed that moves from deep site listening through ecological design, financial modeling, and implementation support. It exists because I got tired of watching clients pay for plans that looked great on paper and fell apart in the field.What sets this practice apart is what happens after the plan is delivered. I don’t hand over a document and disappear. I stay through implementation, reading every document, showing up to every meeting, troubleshooting when the design meets reality, and ensuring that what we drew on paper actually works in the dirt. Operational follow-through is where most consulting relationships fail and most client money gets wasted. It’s where I spent 25 years of my corporate career, and it’s where I add the most value.I don’t advise from theory. I raise livestock, build soil, and troubleshoot regenerative systems on my own land at Fair Hill Farm, a diversified regenerative operation I founded in 2013. When I draw a grazing rotation on paper, I know what it takes to move the fence.I’m a co-founder of an AgriVillage development in Ohio, where I lead the permaculture-based agricultural master plan.
