About Judi Biniamow
judibiniamow.com Current: Pathways to Resilience … think of it as a buffet of strategies that will serve to strengthen one’s resilience. Resilience is our ability to bounce back from adversity. Pathways looks at resilience through the lenses of nine different Pathways – each of which can contribute to the strengthening of our resilience. Having a buffet of strategies means we can do something every single day including the days when they do not have a lot of energy. Consistency is the key to maintaining a strong resilience. When we have a buffet of strategies to pick from, we can match our energy level to a strategy. We can benefit every day from doing something – large or small – to strengthen our resilience. For more information about Pathways to Resilience, please contact me at j••••••••@cox.net or call or text 40••••••56. Prior: I worked in the field of Human Resource Management before I entered the field of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling. There are many similarities between the two fields. Perhaps the most important similarity is the need to listen for the purpose of understanding. It doesn\'t matter if I am talking to someone about a potential job or a life event or a behavior change that they are trying to make. The number one most important thing that I can and need to do is listen first. Now, in the field of mental health treatment and addiction recovery, it is also important to help people understand that whatever change they want to make is up to them. I am not here to dictate change. I am here to provide information and options, encouragement and hope. Almost anything is possible when it comes to change but change is hard. Knowing that there is someone in your corner who will walk with you without judgment can be very powerful. That is what I am here to do. Whether you think of me as your counselor or your coach, either way we are going to walk this path together as long as you choose to. Your are welcome to contact me through LI or my e-mail if you prefer which is j••••••••@cox.net. Thank you! judi
