   When meeting with a new client, I first need to understand their situation: employee demographics, current benefits package, concerns. Then, I can offer some solutions.Aflac offers: Short-Term Disability, Cancer, Accident, Critical Illness, Dental, Hospitalization, and Vision. When a business owner shows how important the employees families are; they will have a dedicated employee. Providing access to voluntary benefits increases employee morale.Whether it\'s the business owner/client or an employee/policyholder, my request is the same: call ME, not the headquarters. While they are lovely people in Columbus, GA, I prefer to get involved myself. I want to hear all about their claim, how their loved one was diagnosed with cancer, and show them first hand how the Aflac cancer policy will help. Or if their child fell and broke their arm, as a mother, I can relate to this parent; and again, show how the Aflac Accident policy will assist.I have been selected as a trainer for Aflac to work with Agents in our region, teaching them \"Enrolling Efficiencies\" as well as how to be prepared with my \"Organization 101 class\". In the past several years, two state (RI & NY) organizations have invited me to speak to their sales team on techniques that work to develop their field force.
