Previously served as the Deputy Project Manager for the Joint Project Management Office for Medical Modeling and Simulation (JPMO MMS) at the US Army’s Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI). JPMO MMS provides the Department of Defense a centralized total lifecycle management approach for the advanced materiel development and procurement of medical Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) across the Military Health System. Prior to this assignment, I spent 10 great years as the Deputy Project Lead for Field Operations (Field OPS) in PEO STRI and provided Acquisition Program Management and Oversight for the Army’s largest worldwide TADSS sustainment and training services contract. Before that, I was the Lead Project Director for Virtual Training where I oversaw the worldwide Life Cycle Support Contracts that operate, maintain, and sustain the Army’s Virtual Training Devices. I have been with PEO STRI (formerly STRICOM) in various capacities since 1995 working in the Engineering Directorate as a Lead Systems Engineer; PM Combined Arms Tactical Trainers (PM CATT) as a Project Director; and PM Field OPS on various aspects of Live, Virtual, and Constructive simulation and training systems and services. Recipient of the US Army’s Simulation for Modeling, Acquisition, Requirements, and Training (SMART) Award and hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Lamar University, a Masters of Business Administration from Webster University, and a graduate of the Army Management Staff College Advanced Course and the Defense Systems Management College Program Manager’s Course.
