About Juchen Guo
I am an educator, researcher, and entrepreneur in the field of materials science and engineering for electrochemical energy storage technologies. I have been teaching at UC Riverside since 2012. My research group is focusing on electrochemical interfaces between electrode materials and electrolytes. Recently, I co-founded Blue Forge, Inc, a Li-ion battery recycling company pioneering aluminometallurgy—a novel, lower-cost, environmental responsible method for recovering battery materials distinct from conventional technologies.
