ABOUT JUAN SEBASTIÁN ARIAS BARRERO

With over 5 years of professional experience and 4 in Recruitment and HR consultancy mostly for tech companies; I have become a partner for international companies to plan, recruit, and hire throughout the world. My current role at remoti serves as a triple hat. First and foremost, I lead revenue focused processes and a team of 6 recruiters. Secondly I work as Key Account Manager for international clients wanting to hire remotely in LATAM and also for international clients hiring in their country of origin. Thirdly I lead headhunting processes and do the recruitment for outstanding clients. My experiences have lead me to recruit worlwide in places like Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Vietnam, Israel, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Europe, and the whole Americas. I have had the fortune to work with all kinds of stakeholders from HR managers to Product teams or directly with C-level executives like CEOs and CTOs. Although I have been working mostly in Software Engineering roles at SaaS companies, I have also worked with other firms as prop-techs, health-techs, legal-tech, financial services and fintechs, blockchain and crypto projects, consulting firms and logistics. For them, I have successfully placed multiple roles from interns to finance, HR, Marketing and Comms, Tech or Legal. One of my strongest skills is having a strong business understanding paired with technology knowledge. Therefore I can bring value to my clients through develivering candidates who will have a deep impact in their organizations.
