Clifton Strengths: Strategic | WOO | Communication | Activator | PositivityI am Juan Obregon, a proud Furman University graduate (Class of 2025), embarking on a new chapter in my academic and professional journey. I am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) at Wake Forest University’s highly regarded School of Business.My passion lies at the intersection of business, data, and problem-solving. During my time at Furman, I refined my analytical and communication skills, and I’m excited to deepen those skills with Wake Forest’s real-world-oriented curriculum. I am a first-generation immigrant from Guatemala who moved to Charlotte, NC, in 2019. Moving to a country where I knew nobody right before a global pandemic was challenging. Being the oldest son and with nobody in my family knowing things like college application processes, FAFSA, credit, loans, etc, it all became overwhelming very quickly. However, through the use of my strategic thinking, interpersonal skills like WOO, and Communication. As well as my determination and the support of my family and community, I was able to overcome this challenge that many people would have been defeated by. The opportunities this country has blessed me with, which I would never have had in Guatemala, fill me with gratitude. My experiences and upbringing have shaped a person with extreme drive, who values and takes action on given opportunities, hard work, perseverance, adaptability, service, and community. Now I am proud to be an American Citizen since May 31st, 2024. I’m especially enthusiastic about becoming part of Wake Forest’s vibrant community.    Oct 2025 — Present

   Led a team of four consultants to design and develop an interactive multi-section business intelligence dashboard in Python (Streamlit, Plotly, Pandas) analyzing over donor records across three integrated datasets to surface actionable insights for Givzey Inc.\'s marketing autonomous fundraising platform. Engineered donor segmentation logic, outreach effectiveness metrics, and time-to-conversion benchmarks by vertical and sub-vertical, enabling Givzey to identify optimal portfolio composition and data-driven thresholds for donor using their flagship Virtual Engagement Officer. Delivered a dynamic filtering system and six analytical sections covering donor profiling, email/SMS engagement analysis, gift conversion rates, and recurring giving patterns, providing Givzey\'s campaign planning team with a scalable tool to guide future partner onboarding and fundraising strategy.
