Leading Data Platform infra @ DocuSign.* Leading a team of 5 geo-distributed software and data engineers in charge of end-to-end infrastructure and code for dataset management, ingestion, querying, and reporting.* Designed and implemented a pipeline capable of ingesting 100s of TB of on prem data, and building a delta lake in the cloud enabling efficient processing, querying and secure access.* Collaborated closely with Reporting, ML infra, Security, and CLM leadership to accomplish Docusign\'s objectives in a correct and timely manner.* Lead data governance, privacy, compliance, and multi-tenancy efforts across our platform.* Drive technical decision-making directly with Directors of Engineering and Staff+ Engineers. Accountable of key metrics for Data Platform during service reliability reviews with Sr Directors/VP.* Helped grow the Data Platform team from 4 to 11 engineers across infra, services, and data engineering, both in USA and India.* Ensured observability was achieved across storage and compute, allowing us to make decisions on performance, usage, and cost across our org and withing individual workflows on each team.* Develop and manage secure, reliable, and highly available compute and storage infrastructure using Terraform.* Enabled monitoring, alerting, and improving our CI/CD pipelines to ensure building, testing, and planning across all environments, performing static analysis and OSS scanning. Set up our live-site strategy.* Improved customer onboarding by automating infrastructure deployment, reducing onboarding time from 1 week to 1 day and then as self-service, allowing us to easily grow from 2 to more than 10 supported teams/scenarios across 5 different environments and 6 regions.* Design and develop batch and streaming data pipelines for large scale analytics using Spark and Python in Azure.
