I didn’t start my college journey in construction, and that’s exactly what shaped the professional I am today.I began pursuing a degree in Kinesiology, earning my AA in Health & Wellness and Kinesiology. Along the way, I discovered a growing interest in the financial and operational side of organizations, which led me to pivot into the finance world and earn my AA in Administration & Information.While working full-time, I started as a Project Coordinator and steadily grew into roles as a Finance Analyst and Finance Assistant Project Manager. Over the past 7+ years, I’ve developed a strong foundation and became a Strategic Assistant Project Manager. I’ve had the opportunity to lead finance teams, manage comprehensive budgets, and help deliver projects on time and under budget through data-driven decision making and operational discipline.But I wanted to build more than just numbers — I wanted to build projects from the ground up.As a Riverside native, attending California Baptist University was always a dream of mine. When the opportunity aligned, I made the decision to return to school and transition into Construction Management. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, with an expected graduation of December 2026.My background in finance gives me a unique edge in construction as I understand both the field and the financial framework that makes projects successful.
