Liaise with the Newsroom finance team to create, track, monitor, and manage multi-million dollar annual operating budgets for each Newsroom department.Responsible for managing the Corporate Apartment program; coordinate accommodation booking for reporters and their families, hire cleaning and maintenance crews, and negotiate apartment leasing terms. Track and organize deployment forms, relocation packages, and evacuation protocol for international correspondents and their families; work continuously with internal mobility teams to safely monitor our staff on assignment abroad. Mentor for The New York Times Mentorship Program 2021; work with junior-level staff on a one-on-one basis to help them navigate their career goals while nurturing their talent and acting as an advocate for their professional development and advancement.
