I get the opportunity to be at the intersection of cloud infrastructure and the AI revolution at Microsoft. But my path here wasn\'t the most traditional.Before diving into various AI services within the Azure ecosystem, my hands were on Cummins diesel engines used for power generation in the Middle-East. Before integrating and fine-tuning machine learning prototypes in conjunction with MIT research labs, I was operating airborne LiDAR sensors to produce 3D maps of terrain and using electo-optical systems to purvey said terrain. This journey from mechanics to machine learning has given me a unique and ground-up perspective on technology and STEM/STEAM as a whole.I truly do believe that the most powerful innovations come from diverse experiences.
