A recognized developer of people - I am passionate about my teams; I have ensured the collaboration and success of more than 140 people - leveraging diversity and strengths. ”Juan is highly effective in creating new business relationships, understanding stakeholders’ requirements and getting his team focused on addressing these needs … he is well organized and builds the resources needed to be successful”, Engineering Director Recent accomplishments: In 2019, in response to long standing issues, spearheaded and prioritized top 28 risk items, secured ~$20M Capital and Expense funding to enhance safety, integrity, compliance and reliability of liquid facilities; Between 20••••19, advanced an effective Integrity Management Program leading to zero leaks due to Vibration or Static Stress threats in Facilities linked to ~4,900 km of pipelines, and ensured unplanned Mechanical equipment failures had 85%; Between 20••••16 advocated for, negotiated and represented TC Energy in Joint Industry Partnerships with Government, pipeline and technology companies to test and evaluate External Leak Detection Technologies, leveraging ~$4.5 M of external funding and sharing learnings with partners.
