I build and scale complex food systems platforms at the intersection of science, capital, regulation, and execution. For 25+ years, I have held Board, CEO, Executive & Senior Director roles in organizations including NEOM (Saudi Arabia\'s Public Investment Fund), The Coca-Cola Company, and Mars Wrigley, leading transformation across food ingredients, agriculture, aquaculture, biotechnology, and novel food technologies. I translate strategy and innovation into scalable, commercially viable systems by combining capital allocation, regulatory development, and operational execution. Key areas of experience: • Advising organizations, boards, and investors on growth strategy, capital allocation, commercialization, and operating-model design • Supporting technology assessment, market-entry strategy, and investment diligence across food ingredients, novel foods, alternative proteins, controlled-environment agriculture, and AI-enabled production systems • Guiding regulatory strategy, food law, ESG, and food-security frameworks • Structuring business cases, funding narratives, and partnership models that connect scientific innovation with commercial viability and investor requirements • Leveraging experience leading $500M+ strategic budgets,$40M+ in food-tech investments, and $70M+ in private aquaculture capital • Bridging governments, investors, research institutions, and operators to de-risk infrastructure and accelerate commercialization At NEOM, I designed and implemented one of the most advanced food infrastructure systems globally, including regulatory frameworks, investment platforms, and large-scale production systems in arid environments. Although the broader program has since been paused, the work established a strong regulatory, investment, and operating blueprint for next-generation food systems. At Coca-Cola, I led programs protecting a billion-dollar ingredient system through genomics, supply optimization, and regulatory strategy. At Mars, I led breeding and genomics programs delivering documented yield gains of up to 300% and positively impacting more than producers. Today, through Episteme Synapsis, I advise organizations and investors on strategy, technology assessment, and commercialization across food systems, biotechnology, and sustainability-driven innovation.
