ABOUT JUAN REYES
As the Director of Hospital Medicine at The George Washington University (GWU), I oversee the clinical, educational, and administrative aspects of one of the largest division in the Department of Medicine. As an Associate Professor of Medicine at GWU with over 18 years of experience, I am passionate about teaching, mentoring, and developing the next generation of hospitalists and leaders in medicine. I have earned my MPH and MD from GWU, and I am currently pursuing my MBA to enhance my skills in healthcare management with a particular interest in AI. I also hold a graduate certificate in Master Teacher Leadership Development Program from GWU, which reflects my expertise and commitment to education. Some of my core competencies include hospital medicine, patient safety, medical education, curriculum design, quality improvement, and interprofessional collaboration.
