I am a Chief Investment Officer with a 32-year career at the International Finance Corporation (IFC). IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, fosters sustainable economic growth in developing countries by supporting private sector development, mobilizing private capital, and providing advisory and risk mitigation services to businesses and governments. I am an experienced infrastructure project finance professional, working on water and sanitation, gas transmission and distribution and power utility projects. My current focus is on financing renewable energy, including hydropower, wind and solar PV, batteries and electric vehicle mass transit in Latin America, as well as the development of desalinization and green hydrogen projects in the region.
