I’m a cybersecurity professional with a BSCSIA from Western Governors University, with a passion for protecting digital environments and keeping networks secure. Along my journey, I’ve earned certifications like Network+, Security+, Linux Essentials, Project+, A+, ISC2 Associate SSCP, CySA+ and most recently the PenTest+. These certifications have given me a solid blend of both technical knowledge and hands-on experience in key areas of cybersecurity.During my internship at Interos, I had the opportunity to lead a company-wide phishing awareness campaign, which highlighted how critical user education is for defending against cyber threats. I also worked closely with the security team on SOC2 compliance, helping to gather and validate evidence, which gave me a deeper understanding of audit and compliance processes.From my certifications and hands-on labs, I’ve gained practical skills in everything from threat and vulnerability management to network and systems security. I’ve been able to apply these skills in real-world simulations—whether that’s detecting phishing attempts, analyzing malware, or responding to incidents.I’m always looking to stay ahead of emerging threats and trends in cybersecurity, and I’m excited to continue growing and contributing to a dynamic team that’s focused on keeping digital landscapes secure.
