   Manage financials for Univision News & Entertainment- Responsible for monthly accounting closing procedures; compliance with required deadlines - Review and analyze monthly operating results (balance sheet and P&L) for News and Entertainment shows ($80MM combined annual production budget) to ensure proper accounting treatment of all transactions - Prepare a monthly financial forecast, an annual budget and a Long-Range Plan (4-year forecast)- Analyze and explain monthly variances and fluctuations in order to provide ad-hoc financial analysis reports - Partner with business executives to develop and adhere to annual expense budgets - Review and approve invoices and purchase orders for submission to Accounts Payable - Closely work with outside vendors to ensure compliance with insurance requirements and proper contract documentation - Monitor changes in employment contracts, headcount changes; review and approve payroll time-sheets - Review and approve credit card for travel and purchase card transactions (in Concur and Markview systems)- Report insurance claims to the Risk Management office (workers\' compensation claims, traffic accidents, etc) and request/secure execution of ICA prior to engaging third-party vendors or providers
