My duties include analyzing and approving exports by NASA JSC internal organizations which require the use of ITAR license exemptions and EAR exceptions; identification and review of correct ECCN Numbers or appropriate USML Categories applicable to NASA JSC exports of Hardware, Software and Technical Data; compliance con NASA JSCS internal Export Compliance Policies and Requirements; the use and citation of the appropriate EAR or ITAR provisions; daily interaction with NASA Export Compliance Representatives (ECR\'s) aiming at addressing questions and other export compliance issues; processing of requests for export licenses directed to NASA Headquarters in Washington D.C; participation as instructor in the context of monthly and quarterly Export Compliance training sessions; record keeping activities, OFAC, etc.
