ABOUT JUAN L. RIVERA-CORREA
I am a scientist and educator interested in the immunology of global infections. My research program is focused on understanding the role and mechanisms of autoimmunity during infection, particularly malaria infection and other tropical infections. Specifically, we work on studying the roles of autoantibodies and B-cells during these infections. Most of these projects are in collaboration with New York University and collaborators from Colombia and Costa Rica. I am also a passionate bilingual individual interested in service and mentorship.
