About Juan Gonzalez
I started my mining career at Meikle and Rodeo Underground Mine and after 5 years I was promoted to Underground Operations Supervisor. In 2012 I spent some time with the Business Improvement group at Barrick Goldstrike, after 6 months I moved to the Human Resource Department at Goldstrike to develop and work on my supervisor skills. In April of 2013 I moved to Front Line Supervisor in the open pit truck shop. In June of 2015 I left Barrick and went to work for Newmont. I have worked as a underground operations supervisor at Leeville, and Exodus mines. I recently moved in November 2018 to Pete Bajo mine as a Mobile Maintenance Foreman. I have moved on from the mines after they supported myself and my family for 20 plus years. It was a great run and wouldn’t change it for anything. What I learned and the people I have met allowed me to grow and be a better person. I have started a new career with Boart Longyear in the Nevada RC division.
