ABOUT JUAN CEPEDA
I am a passionate, analytical and collaborative fourth-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Calgary. Additionally, I completed a 16-month internship as a project management intern at TC Energy. As a project management intern, I have been able to develop my project management skills and expand my understanding of the pipe integrity space by managing 20+ projects. After completing my chemical engineering degree, I am looking to become a project management professional and professional engineer. In addition to that, I have a keen interest in sustainable infrastructure design to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions within the energy industry. I am a very detailed-minded person, with strong communication skills and have had many experiences that allow me to work great in a team environment. When I’m not studying or going to work, I like to balance my life out by playing sports like volleyball and badminton, as well as spending time with family and friends.
