   Management of the Finance organization within the GeoUnit, including talent management, training and development.* Supervises treasury, tax, billing, collection and payable staff that are located within the GeoUnit.* Responsible for cash collections and controlling DSO within the GeoUnit.* Provides governance over the balance sheet in the GeoUnit in conjunction with Finance Hubs.* Monitors and forecast cash generation, liquidity and funding needs for the GeoUnit, ensuring optimal field cash levels.* Analyzes balance sheet and cash flow currency exposures and proposes to SL Treasury strategies to minimize their impacts.* Responsible for tax management & compliance across the legal entities within the GeoUnit, including statutory accounts and tax compliance, support on tax audits, legal entity capital structure, and other regulatory/compliance requirements.* Ensures that all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with the SLB policies and procedures.* Ensure adherence to corporate ethical policies and internal controls.* Ensures GeoUnits structure costs and other costs shared across Divisions are optimized.* Prepare annual and quarterly plans for GeoUnit structure costs and other costs shared across Divisions.* Monitors and enforces internal controls and compliance including Sarbanes Oxley requirements.* Organize periodic audits internally and assist in external audits.* Review and approve material non-FTE Capital Acquisition Reviews (CAR’s) for Land & Facilities, including long-term lease commitments.* Participate in managing local alliances and joint ventures.* With Operations team, ensure that operations within the GeoUnit are conducted in compliance with local laws, including importation, license to operate and bidding requirements.* Assess customers for credit limit, identify at-risk receivables, and follow up with Sales and the customer to ensure overall reduction in receivables and days to invoice ratio.
