About Travis Sparks

Originally from Central Indiana, Travis has always been an entrepreneur at heart. He started out in the mortgage industry which included hosting his radio show “Mortgage Secrets” on WHBU. When the industry declined, he started Grandview Lawn Care, which he grew into a thriving local business. He has always prioritized being involved with the community. He was active in the local BNI chapter, Toastmasters, Rotary Club, helping with his daughter’s Girl Scout troop, and many other things geared towards community and local economic development. Travis had grown tired of being a self-proclaimed workaholic, sold his company in 2018 and moved down to Nort Port. He took a corporate job to prioritize work life balance, friends and his family. After taking a few years to explore his new home of Southwest Florida, he connected with the Osprey Nokomis Chamber of Commerce. He quickly found that their “The Spirit of Business & Community Care” initiative directly aligned with his Midwestern values. He fully embraced joining their board as the Public Relations Director as well as serving as the Vice President of the ONCC Foundation. This led to a direct connection to Family Promise and many other local non-profits. In May of 2024, he took it a step further and parted ways with his corporate job, joining Southeastern Roofing & Construction to get further embedded in the local community and more aligned with his true entrepreneurial spirit. Travis spends his free time out on his motorcycle exploring Central and SW Florida or out fishing in the local waterways. He brings a diverse outlook utilizing his core strengths of resource connection and desire to help.
