Fostering strong communication within and between teams provides the insight that people need to stay engaged and valued. Working hard has never been a problem when motivated by identifying issues, brainstorming, implementing solutions, and seeing the final tangible product. My good friends got a sofa bed stuck two flights up a three-story walk-up in Brooklyn. They quickly disregarded the other\'s concerns and didn\'t believe fitting it in their apartment it would be a problem, and ultimately had to cut it in half length-ways after it got stuck. I recall the story often when thinking through issues and solutions. By soliciting feedback from the team and stakeholders and thinking it through, we can avoid having to saw a sofa into bits.
