About Steve Paquette
I have had a diverse and challenging career in corporate, public and private sectors and can now provide organizations and boards insights on strategy; growth; ESG, Climate Change and sustainability; and diversity and inclusion.Presently I am doing executive consulting work dealing with mergers & acquisition; corporate strategy; and marketing and sales. As part of this, I am conducting engineering and consulting market research; and developing growth and acquisition strategies for multiple private and publicly traded firms. In the past I have held executive leadership positions with 3 Fortune 500 companies (WSP Global, Jacobs, and Fluor), as well as senior executive level positions for two privately held firms. Other specific expertise I possess:*Governance - Led at the C-suite level and member of an executive leadership team, helping set strategy, operating goals, and ERP implementation. Led as President a 2,500-person business with revenue of over $500M, which achieved over 300% growth over 5 years through organic and inorganic growth.* Board Activities - Served on a public sector board, and multiple non-profit boards. As a former operating executive, presented to and supported company Boards and their Committees.* ESG/Climate Change & Sustainability - Led the US sustainability /climate change team for a major US public company. And supported the team developing future ready solutions for over 100 public and private global customers.*Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)- Established and led the DEI program for a major US based engineering /consulting company. Revamped our internal DEI philosophy and programs to improve the recruiting, retention and development of a new diverse workforce.
