ABOUT JESSICA NUNES
Jessica Nunes is a Ph.D. student of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She researches modeling and control of urban air mobility aircraft with distributed sensing and actuation. Before that, she did her Master\'s in the Aeronautics Institute of Technology-ITA in Sao Paulo, Brazil. There, she was an Assistant Researcher at the Laboratory of New Concepts in Aeronautics and worked with structural analyses and flight-testing of flexible and very flexible aircraft. She graduated from the Federal Institute of Maranhao-IFMA in Maranhao, Brazil with a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering. During that time she was involved in research related to product design and characterization of ceramic materials.
