West Mercia Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre serving the local community in Worcestershire, Herefordshire and West Mercia regions. I am honoured to be back on the Trustee Board for this outstanding team as we continue to monitor and develop governance and sustainability for an expanded service offering to women, children (aged 5+) and men.Trustee roles and responsibilities continue to evolve in the context of funding and a growing team of staff and volunteers, inextricably linked to the structural changes in Health, Policing and the justice system. A key concern is the well-being of our team in the face of increased demand where services remain under-funded and I challenge any business to deliver as much as we do without guaranteed sustainable cashflow! Elected to Chair from August 2016, with line management of CEO. At YE 04/2022 we had 90 staff, 9 volunteers, 5 sessional counsellors, 6 student counsellors and 6 Trustees.Helplines: 01•••••••14 (Worcestershire) and 01432 (Herefordshire)DBS certified. ABOUT JOY GRIFFITHS
Joyous Solutions are the outcomes I deliver to clients in freelance projects and private coaching. It is one Human connecting with other Humans to co-create change. Joyous Solutions Ltd is the company I set up to manage the business of my work. It has no bricks and mortar, hence no need for facilities services. I work on freelance med-tech projects as part of a small specialist team of folks I love to work with, while privately The Joy Connector transformational coaching conversations nurture women to breathe life into their deepest feelings and aspirations. Despite having a name like Joy it’s taken me decades of exploring to realise that I could move from the idea of a ‘solutions based business’ to one that is truly focused on bringing more joy-full outcomes into our world (even though that\'s been my default setting for as long as I can recall). I founded Joyous Solutions on the principle that business should be fun. Over time, shifting between freelance projects and corporate roles, it evolved from a marketing services company into a management consultancy. Today I work with some long-term partners precisely because they\'re fun and I love them! Committed investment in personal growth led me to combine my corporate skills and experience with an expanding number of coaching tools that I continue to learn and use on my own journey. It is an honour and deeply humbling to share these resources with clients, to witness the incredible shifts they make in their energy, and hear how that subsequently impacts their lives going forward.
