Leading the Avelo Technical Operations Engineering, Maintenance Control and Planning teams to build a better way of traveling for today’s new customer. Avelo Launched May 2021 a new airline deploying Boeing 737 NG aircraft that promise a smoother more caring travel experience devoted to connecting people with the experiences they value most. Operating now out of 6 US Bases with 53 plus destinations across 24 states achieving profitability is less than 20 months of revenue service. Utilizing over 44 years of Aviation 121 Commercial, 145 MRO including OEM manufacture experience. Applying Technical, MCC Operational, Engineering and Planning experience to help create a new Airline applying Big Airline Science to a new ULCC maintaining Safety as #1 priority, keeping it simple and doing the right thing always for our crewmembers and Avelo customers. Provides Strategic Leadership and Tactical Strategy for Operational support of the fleet size and health needed to meet Avelo Airlines future network growth needs. Accomplished through strategic project management and planning using all company resources and efficient planning to produce sustained fleet health.Direct coordination with Leasing organizations including external aircraft owners, GCAS, CastleLake, AerCap/ GE Capital, Genesis, Macquarie, Carlyle, DAE, and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia Formulates final fleet configuration with existing owner/lessor to defining all regulatory requirements (such as ADS-B, HUD, WQAR, SFAR 88, FAA-ADs, Cabin FARs, Foreign STCs) that must be addressed prior to operation in the US. Partners with Boeing Commercial Services CAS for specification design requirements for fleet harmonization utilizing Boeing CAS services and embodiment of STC solutions from Collins, Teledyne and Honeywell to provide a common Flight Deck Vision and Cabin experience.
