About Jessica Senquiz

I’m a director, writer, and creative strategist passionate about telling human-centered stories that drive connection, inclusion, and change. With a background in film and business from Boston University and a deep commitment to equity, I bring both creative vision and operational execution to every project. My directorial debut short film (premiered February 2025 at Oscars’ qualifying Slamdance Film Festival) “Promise to Stronger Days,” centers themes of trauma, resilience, and identity, and has been supported through viral social media campaigns and community-backed crowdfunding. I was responsible for project managing this entire film from crowdfunding in pre-production to executing a successful marketing campaign to socialize the film in post-production.I also directed, produced, and project managed “The People Behind the Science” – a 14-part video series for Moderna during the pandemic to showcase the individuals creating the vaccines. I have contributed to large-scale productions with NBCUniversal’s Below Deck, the 2022 Winter Olympics, and CNBC, building a foundation in both independent storytelling and high-profile media environments.Beyond the camera, I founded Senquiz Strategies LLC, a creative marketing and consulting agency helping clients build authentic brands and content ecosystems. I am currently partnering as an influencer with the Students of Stanford Creator Educational Program to use my expertise in social media influencing to guide others.
