Mr. Seagroves is currently serving as a CTO/ Chief Enterprise Data Architect with a history of leading IT Organizations to leverage technologies toward accomplishing strategic and tactical business objectives. His recent experience involves helping organizations implement major expense-reducing, competitive and business flexibility improvements utilizing big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive and Spark. Mr. Seagroves also lead the architecture, design, and developmentfor a $24+ Million client proposal for a data and reporting solution that joins data sources into a Hadoop based ecosystem with analytic and visualization capabilities. Mr. Seagroves also reviews existing warehousing models and architecture to lead, design and implement new development that improves existing warehouse and reporting system loading by 50+% from the migration to next generation ETL and Analytics methodologies and techniques. He also architected data systems, strategies and business processes and operational data store and warehouse models for multiple customers. He works with all levels of external and internal business customers for requirement development and implemented a data extraction tool using metadata to generate Extract, Transform and Load loader code for large warehouse and Operational Data Store. He has identified capabilities and supporting application imbalances resulting in revisions to corporate data models and reporting capabilities, highlighted gaps in reporting and data management capabilities and developed mitigation strategies. Mr. Seagroves developed and presented customer database improvements in Apache Spark for internal database loading strategy that lead to first ever direct warehouse loading project at CMS resulting in significantly shortened development and warehouse loading time.
