ABOUT JETHRO ROLLAND
Every great event comes together around a great story. This is true whether you\'re co-ordinating a storybook wedding in a jaw-dropping location, an offsite meeting to energise your team, or a showstopper dinner to wow your most important clients. I\'m lucky enough to have over half a decade of experience telling great stories to captivate audiences from all across the world. I know just how important it is to get your guests and delegates hooked from the first moment and to give them a show they\'ll never forget. This means combining amazing customer interactions, fine attention to detail, communication skills, and resource management to deliver the perfect experience for every guest, every time. For the past two years I\'ve been given the incredible opportunity to put those selfsame skills into action doing something even better. That\'s building events - events that tell our clients\' stories to their guests and delegates in a way that plays on the fun and the unexpected. However I\'ve not just been involved in designing and hosting some of the most important events in the Edinburgh social calendar; it\'s also been a pleasure to develop my technical skills too. I\'ve learned so much about diary management, invoicing and working with contracts. I\'ve gained great knowledge and confidence using Canva, Microsoft Excel and Adobe InDesign. Most excitingly of all, I\'ve even been able to use scripting skills to automate some of our administrative tasks - which is hugely satisfying! It pales in comparison, however, compared to the immense satisfaction that comes from seeing a client\'s eyes light up as they walk into a shimmering and fully set venue space for the first time, or hearing a whole room of delegates joyfully toasting their host after a wonderful private dinner. That\'s my story. Why not get in touch, so I can tell yours too?
