ABOUT J. REGAN HUTSON
I have over 10 years of experience working with people and technology. Currently, I work in a cross-functional role with Kaiser Permanente, where I lead the technical side of a regional application deployment in addition to leading product development for multiple internal facing applications. I am passionate about creating products that matter by improving workflows or providing valuable insights.Prior to my current role, I began leveraging my Python experience to support my projects. This included creation of an ETL pipeline (Pandas and the ArcGIS API for Python) to run a daily comparison of data collected through Survey 123 to several other datasets and load the enhanced data back into ArcGIS Portal. This pipeline addressed a critical need that was identified mid-deployment, allowing the project to continue on schedule.Outside of work, you can frequently find me volunteering with Hack For LA. I am currently a member of the Product Management team for the Home Unite Us project. Previous work included Exploratory Data Analysis and consulting on how to best work with spatial data. In my spare time, I like to spend time in the kitchen or the mountains. Hiking, Fly-Fishing and baking are all hobbies I enjoy.I’m interested in connecting with anyone who is passionate about technology that can improve people’s lives.
