Works with Wexler Grant school Administration team to develop a safe and nurturing environment for teaching children ranging from grades K-8. Communicates proactively with teachers to inform them of student issues and build relationships with parents.Prepares materials for students to reflect and maneuver their behaviors during high-stress situations. Works with school counselors and administration to administer and follow behavioral plans based on students\' needs while assisting students in examining misbehavior and developing strategies to prevent reoccurrences. Report and collect data about behaviors that led to the student being redirected. Adapts classroom work for the purpose of providing students with instructional materials; addressing individualized learning plans; and/or reinforcing classroom objectives. Reports incidents (e.g. fights, suspected child abuse, suspected substance abuse, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining the personal safety of students, providing a positive learning environment, and adhering to Education Code, administrative, and/or school policies.Provide Wexler Grant with further opportunities to engage with students. Collaborating with outside organizations and facilitating Incentive-based objectives to gain student trust and increase school pride and student morale.
