ABOUT JOE RAASCH

I struggle writing about myself.You\'re supposed to write about your years of experience, skills, achievements and previous job experiences. I\'m not good at that sort of thing.I guess if there was something I\'d want people to know about me, it would be that I\'m a hard worker. I\'ve spent the last 20 years working two jobs, teaching visual effects and working in visual effects as an artist.It\'s actually really funny that I\'ve been a teacher for all this time, since I\'ve always hated public speaking. I sort of fell into this position, but then I felt the responsibility that I had to have the answers. I had a few horrible teachers and I really, REALLY didn\'t want to be like that to another person.In fact, I\'ve always had that saying \'Those who can, do, those who can\'t, teach\' in the back of my mind, and it would scare the hell out of me. So I always kept a studio job as if to tell my students that, yea, I can do this stuff.So maybe deep, deep insecurity is the secret to success? lolTake a look around my profile.
