Lead the redesign and implementation of ingestion systems to support low-latency processing for Datomic, DynamoDB and Kafka, using Flink in Java. These systems ingest billions of events per day and power the analytical and machine learning systems for the entire organisation. They also serve critical transactional systems with low-latency requirements, such as Fraud detection- Automate the deployment infrastructure of the ingestion systems so that it can be set up and managed autonomously by hundreds of teams. The automation was built using Kubernetes and its Operator Framework.

In the last few years, I have focused on building critical internal platforms that serve hundreds of internal stakeholders. I am currently leading the design and implementation of systems built across multiple teams and ensuring they meet the business goals of the organisation. Before that, I worked in companies of different sizes and accumulated a broad experience beyond engineering. I have mentored dozens of engineers, managed large projects with demanding time constraints, designed interview processes and conducted hundreds of interviews.I value quality-driven engineering cultures with strong business acuity and anchored on open communication and tight collaboration. I am pursuing a hands-on technical career path, where my remaining responsibilities take up 20 to 30% of my time.
